How to become a Successful Freelancer

If you know something about freelancing and you are interested then surely you want to be a successful freelancer. Because not everyone succeeds in freelancing and not everyone can succeed. 1. Research:

First of all, I do research on this before doing anything. And research is much easier in this digital age. Freelancing requires a lot of time, effort, and talent. So where you will invest so much valuable time, talent, and labor, knowing it will be a wise thing to do well. Doing research will give you a lot of important information about freelancing that will help you make a decision.

Maybe you want to be a student, study as well as freelancing or you are an employer, want to start a job as well as even leave the job. This is why I attach so much importance to research. 2. Select the first two jobs:

I assume you have researched and decided that you will do freelancing. Now you may be looking for a job in freelancing that can be successful quickly and the most income can be made in any job of freelancing. It is a very normal thought which raises questions in the minds of newcomers. Before that, tell me which job you like best or what kind of work you can do well? It is much more important.

Because you may have chosen web development after hearing about earning a lot of money. But after coding for a while, you don't feel good anymore, you feel annoyed, you even have trouble understanding many things about coding. Then web development is not for you. You can do better by looking at the design again, but whenever you are asked to do a unique design by yourself, your head no longer works. Then graphics design is not for you.

3. Select the final task:

Now 4 weeks for 2 of the 2 jobs you have chosen means 1 month to learn and time to learn. Here you will do the first job for 2 weeks in a row and the second job for 2 weeks in a row. Hopefully, after 1 month, you will be able to find the best job for you. With which you can do better in this sector. When I choose a job this way, I want you to take the time to find a job that works best for you.

4. Learn to work with time

The most important thing is to learn to work with time. Even if you make a small mistake in choosing a job, if you can learn to work with the mind over time, it will be your best achievement that will help you a lot to succeed in freelancing. Many people start to apply for a job by opening a profile without learning the job and after a while, they get a job and return empty-handed from this wonderful job.

One thing to keep in mind is that there are many ways to make money online if you are good at it. If you don't come to this profession without learning to work, then you can't do anything. And especially at the present time (in 2019), this sector is getting harder day by day.

5. Work for a few days under a successful freelancer:

If you have such an opportunity, learn to work under a successful freelancer. Because he will teach you all the jobs that are in high demand in the current market. Although those who are successful in freelancing are a little busy with work but I have seen that they often give opportunities to newcomers. Many have their own training centers. However, stay away from some training centers that only sit for training and earn money and who do not have skilled trainers.

6. Study the marketplace

Though by this time your idea about the marketplace is about to become. Even then, if you start with a freelancing marketplace according to your skills, you can get a quick job. You can take advice from the work of successful people. The sooner you get a job, the sooner you will get better at freelancing. First pick a marketplace where you want to get started.

7. Open profile

At this stage open a profile in your selected marketplace. It is very easy to open an account on other web sites. But the important part is to arrange the profile beautifully. Take a picture with a very nice smile and give it as your profile picture. Write a good profile overview and add a work portfolio. There are also many more that vary according to the marketplace. You can understand them as soon as you see them and if you have trouble understanding them, consult an expert, you can even search on YouTube to see if there are any tutorials on the subject.

8. Apply for work

An application or cover letter can bring you a job after coming so far. The client can call you for an interview after seeing the cover letter. Only apply for jobs that you believe you can do well. To apply for the job selectively and be patient. Some people get a job very easily and some people take a little time. Trust me you will also get a job if you do everything right.

9. Submit work at the right time

After getting the job the client will tell you a time to submit the job which is called the deadline. You must submit the work before that time or within that time. However, it cannot be delayed. If all goes well, the client will understand the work and pay you. When you get paid for the work, a different feeling will work between you, whether it is  1 or 100. 10. Keep in touch:

Communicating with the client during work is very important. Usually, we use Skype which most clients have. Stay active on Skype and knock the client in case of any need, email. They like communication a lot, but it's not just a story, the more contact you have about work, the better. In this case, they rarely bother the client.

11. Keep up the good work

You have started a beautiful journey which if you work honestly you will also become a successful freelancer. With time, effort, talent, and honesty, you can take yourself far beyond what you once imagined.
